Way back in August, Amazon announced a “new adult-animated anthology series” called Secret Level, developed under Amazon’s own Prime Video label. The idea was to release 15 episodes based at least in part on various video games – including Amazon MMORPG New World. Which is, you know, the main reason we’re paying attention!
As of this afternoon, we’re getting a closer look at the New World Aeternum-themed story thanks to a brief teaser trailer.
“Today, Prime Video released the trailer for the New World: Aeternum episode of the upcoming Secret Level anthology series featuring 15 original short stories set within the worlds of some of the most beloved video games. […] The New World: Aeternum episode stars a self-centered hero who finds himself shipwrecked on the supernatural island of Aeternum, where he grapples with the concept of eternal life, blending action, humor and a lot of heart.”
Yep, definitely sounds like an MMORPG character. The full episode will be out on December 10th – “exclusively on Prime Video,” of course.
