Fashion is the true endgame of MMORPGs, unless you’ve fully embraced your inner murderhobo. And personally, I have a very specific aesthetic in MMOs. I am usually looking for something that looks somewhat normal but with a spark. I don’t want insane particle effects, wings or shoulderpads larger than my character, or neon dyes – and my eyes get very tired in MMOs where that’s the norm. So I’m often looking for outfits that look like leather and canvas and have realistic shapes but just not common real-world shapes, with unusual but not impossible colors.
But I guess I’m also happy that the people obsessed with wings still have a place to call home.
