here is a list of people I have made up who are nicknamed “eyeballs” for various reasons:
- Brickle “Eyeballs” Jones-Churchill can make his eyeballs bug out on command and then he pulls something and falls over in pain and everyone asks why the Hell he did that and it’s always to impress Karla, he did it to impress Karla, but Karla was never here to see it in the first place she was never in the room which makes the whole thing totally pointless, and we can see a little bit of blood pooling under Brickle’s face so we call the ambulance as he starts whimpering in pain and Jonesy is sitting with him saying it’s going to be okay, meanwhile I’m trying to comfort Becca because she’s been really attracted to Brickle forever but I hate Brickle, I hate him so much, I would be so good for Becca but she just doesn’t care, we get in my car and drive after and Jonesy is trying to comfort Becca and me and Paulie but then once we get to the hospital we have to wait in the waiting room, and Bea is working tonight and it’s a whole thing, then Bea kicks me in the throat because I make a joke about the time she farted in front of the prime minister and ultimately I become Queen of the Morlocks.
- Teddicus “Eyeballs” Windsor likes What Are You Playing.
Bonus question: What’s the scariest moment you’ve ever had riding in a vehicle?
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna.bsky.social, blog): I’ll definitely be playing Lord of the Rings Online this weekend – I’m working on leveling multiple toons in succession now, which has been fun since I’m revisiting some characters I haven’t touched in a while. And of course, I gotta get ready for the big housing chaos coming next week!
Driving on winding, barely paved, totally un-guardrailed mountain roads on a trip to Moab. I genuinely thought we were gonna go right off the edge in the fog and the dark and nobody would find us for days. We didn’t, though, so now you’re stuck with me.
Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes.bsky.social, blog): Now that I’ve gotten through the MSQ of Final Fantasy XIV, I think I can stop playing again (I died so frequently in the new trial that I was an active harm to my PUGmates). So I don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m too self-flagellating to think right now. But it definitely won’t be that game.
Bonus: I’ve been in three accidents in my life thus far – knock on wood there won’t be more – and the worst was when I foolishly blew through an intersection right at the perfect time to get t-boned by a semi truck. I wasn’t seriously injured, but it definitely taught me the value of not rushing.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Got some FFXIV stuff to keep doing with the new patch (I did not have a frustrating trial time) and my usual spread of activities to keep up on in Warframe along the way. I’ve also been on a run for V Rising and been having fun with that, so I’m glad that a new update is on the way in the near future.
There was a moment when I was driving in a truck with my dad and his truck hit a really rough patch of snow which resulted in the vehicle spinning around completely a couple of times. It was really scary, even though we didn’t hit anything and we were actually fine. My dad was even completely sober, and after it happened we both sat there for a moment before he looked to me and asked if I was all right. So scary, but not painful!
Tyler Edwards (blog): World of Warcraft is going to be my focus. I have about a month of subscription time left, and I want to finish playing through all the Battle for Azeroth content before then. I’ve been dragging my heels because, well, BfA just isn’t that good, but I do want to finish catching up on everything I missed while I was away from the game.
