Blade & Soul NEO offers preliminary compensation to EU players for ongoing DDoS attacks

The EU playerbase of Blade & Soul NEO has been having a particularly challenging time with the game as NCsoft is reporting that the Moonwater Plains server based in that region has been under DDoS attack for the past 12 days – and it doesn’t seem to be relenting anytime soon. However, the studio is offering thanks to affected players with a preliminary compensation bundle.

The goodies in question will be handed out to those on Moonwater Plains who were playing between March 14th and 25th, and include things like material chests, mission safes, buff potions, and a transformation stone. In addition, those on the Cinderlands EU server who were online from March 18th through the 20th are getting their own small bundle of items as recompense for an earlier eight-hour emergency maintenance.

As mentioned before, NCsoft says that the attacks are still happening and so additional compensation will be offered, along with the promise that its developers are still on the case. “It is difficult to predict when the service will be back to normal but please know that our teams will still working around the clock until the problem is resolved,” the post reads.
