It’s content drop day for Tower of Fantasy today as the multiplayer gacha RPG brings on Ver.4.8: Interstellar Visitor, which adds another character to the digital gachapon machine, more story, and a whole slew of new events for players to look forward to.
Headlining the patch is Carrot, a “little rascal and foodie” who attacks enemies with a variety of high-tech gadgets like a big robot, a very large laser cannon, and a whole lot of twee if her video introduction is anything to go by.
The patch additionally brings another piece of the game’s story content involving Carrot interrupting some otherwise well-earned rest, new seasons for evolution frontier and sequential phantasm, new stages and fights for several instances, and a lineup of bug fixes. There’s also a whole slew of events including a picnic basket-filling Carrot Dash, a series of missions known as echo trials, and a host of login events, while later weeks will bring other events known as Bullet Storm and Plum Duel. Your guess is as good as ours on what those involve.
