Who’s afraid of a robot in Overwatch? Other than just about everyone, seeing as how an enormous robot war is pretty close to everyone’s immediate memories. So when a random Bastion unit shows up, pretty much everyone is going to freak out. Of course, if you’ve actually played the game, you know that Bastion can be defeated rather easily by… wait, is he still insanely overtuned right now? Maybe all of the characters in this comic are right to be scared.
Regardless, this comic is all about the origin of the bird-loving robot and a former member of Overwatch learning a little bit more about what the Bastion units are really capable of. It’s a short comic at 12 pages, but if you love learning more about the lore behind the game, you’d do well to check it out. And unlike the previous comic for the game, it doesn’t really sink anyone’s ship and may well create a few new ones.
