The rotating stock of Prime ‘Frames in Warframe continues its carousel. Players who buy in to Prime Access can now get their hands on the dual-natured Equinox Prime.
As described on the Warframe store page, Equinox Prime is a combatant that has the ability to switch between night and day forms, which provides her abilities with unique changes depending on the stance she’s in. These include increasing her shields, reducing enemy damage, or healing allies when nearby foes are killed. The new Prime bundles also include the Stradavar Prime rifle and the Tipedo Prime staff, but as usual all of the items — including Equinox Prime herself — can be earned in-game through blueprint drops in Relics.
Of course, with a new Prime Warframe’s arrival comes a move to put other Prime Warframes in to the Vault; Oberon Prime, Silva & Aegis Prime, and Sybaris Prime have been locked up, along with a shift of some Syndicate Sacrifice items.
The latest update has also made a number of Riven disposition updates in an effort to “help guide dispositions closer to where we feel they should be, and to offer a solid baseline that is less subject to fluctuating player usage stats.” Finally, the Mainline update to PC has also made some subtle tweaks to shadows and lighting, which were outlined in a tweet by director Steve Sinclair.
"Mainline" PC this week with stunning PoE rework – however other small visual upgrades across game:
-Character shadows have reduced 'shadow cut/bleed' which brings bounce light back!
-Bloom 'pops more' yet without nasty wash out! Emissives look scifi, without washing out skies. pic.twitter.com/yDYBQtkwxW— Steve Sinclair (@sj_sinclair) April 2, 2019
