Considering that RuneFest isn’t going to happen this year, Jagex has been looking at other ways to celebrate RuneScape’s community. To wit, the studio is taking its community award show completely online this year — and is looking for nominations for the best content creators.
“Obviously in this era of COVID-19, things will be a little different this time around,” the studio said. “But we’re not letting social distancing stop us!”
The 10th Annual Golden Gnome Awards is going all-digital this year with 19 categories, which is two more than last year’s show. Nominations are open through August 30th for best video creators, streamers, and artists for both RuneScape and Old School RuneScape. This year, Jagex is also adding a community achievement award for both titles.
Voting on the list will take place this fall, followed by the awards show on Saturday, November 7th. This show will be livestreamed to announce the winners of the 19 coveted Gnomes.
