And the winner is…
Dreamworld
We had no shortage of obvious and not-so-obvious scams enter the MMO sphere, but Dreamworld takes the proverbial cake, as it was begun by two MMO industry novices, promised everything including the sun, managed to get investors and Kickstarter backers to give them a truckton of money, and then put out what is apparently a piece of junk, but not before they were called out by the former fiancee of one of the developers, who apparently had a… let’s call it a history of telling tall tales. The whole thing is wild.
