The Daily Grind: Do you ever cringe at stuff you used to do in MMORPGs?

I’ve probably told this story before, but a whole lot of my early gaming characters from when I was younger, including in MMORPGs, were named after characters in a certain popular fantasy book series. Nobody important, mind you, mostly obscure third-tier characters. I wasn’t running around as Luke Skywalker or Legolas – a gold star to you if you immediately know where Annoura, Masuri, or Nisao came from – but I’m a little embarrassed about it now, especially since I still have and play some of these toons when I return to old games. But not embarrassed enough to change their names.

Then again, I once named a berserker character ZERKIN to play a very serious test game with my colleagues, so maybe I should go back to borrowing names.
