It’s been a good stretch since we last checked in with Ilysia, a Kickstarted virtual reality MMO that went into early access last fall. But now with some of its only competition going into maintenance mode, Ilysia has a shot at cornering this very niche market.
That is, it might have a shot if Ilysia can clean up its act and get its central gameplay features working as intended. This is actually the entire focus of this past week’s Version 0.3.0, otherwise known as the Core Systems Update.
“This exciting new update introduces a complete overhaul of the fundamental systems in Ilysia, including character movement, combat, mobs and AI, a fully-functioning party system, VOIP, and more,” said Team 21 Studio.
Ilysia is $15 on Steam but is struggling to find an audience — any audience — at this point.
