Diablo Immortal is two years old and diving into its third year with another modest content update: The release rolls out to American players at 4 a.m. EDT on August 7th and should be live by 6 a.m., bright and early tomorrow morning.
The update includes the Overflowing Arsenal event, which charges players with weekly tasks in exchange for gear tokens, as well as the Sunfall Reliquary Grotto, plus a slew of returning events staggered out over the period: the Survivor’s Bane event, Alley of Blood event, All Clans on Deck, Trial of the Hordes, and Scorched Sea.
Feature-wise, Blizzard and NetEase have tweaked battleground resurrection timers, added more helliquary bosses to normal difficulty, buffed drops for Abyssal Verge and Erebban Castle, removed weekly resets for the Terror Essence Codex tasks, and made several needed UI tweaks – like new PC-only loot name colors in the Wilderness.
