Lost Ark will be offline most of today patching in the Arkesia Ignited update

It’s patch day for Lost Ark, though you may not get to play much today, as downtime for Arkesia Ignited is currently underway, with T4 for endgamers and the new Ignite progression servers for everyone else.

“The Arkesia Ignited Update arrives on October 9, heralding the beginning of a new age for new and veteran players alike,” Amazon says. “The battle in North Kurzan will serve as the entry point to Tier 4 (T4), Lost Ark’s endgame evolution, which introduces a multitude of new endgame systems for players to power up before facing the many challenges on the near horizon.”

“The vast array of new gear, systems, and abilities aren’t the only thing that will help you power up to face Kazeros’ forces — reinforcements are also critical to overcoming the demonic hordes. To bolster the ranks of players ready to enter Tier 4, a special progression event arrives in the form of Ignite Servers. These special servers will quickly level players up to 1620 and give them the tools to enter the fray. Additionally, to give players a major power increase in Tier 4, Hyper Awakenings will also be included in this update!”

The studio has also noticed that it’s going to keep running the Chase the Storm event through November 27th.

The downside here is that the servers aren’t gonna be up for a while. Amazon took everything offline at 3 a.m. EDT this morning to begin a planned 15-hour downtime, which means you’ll be waiting until around 6 p.m. EDT tonight if everything goes to plan. If it doesn’t go to plan… well, you can always read the patch notes again or settle in for a one-hour patch video walkthrough with the devs.

Update
The servers actually made it back online a bit early – but be aware that there are some hefty bugs.
