World of Warcraft shares where to get currencies and what to spend them on during its 20th anniversary

Tuesday, October 22nd, will be when World of Warcraft marks its 20th anniversary, and that will mean shopping! Apparently! At least in-game shopping, anyway, not cash shop shopping. That shoe will probably drop later.

The fairgrounds will be host to another series of event vendors that are offering things like skins, toys, mounts, and pets, with another assortment of currencies that they’ll accept to get the goodies. The primary currency powering most of the anniversary is the bronze celebration token, which lets players get Tier 2 transmog armor as well as legacy mounts and pets. In terms of earning these tokens, that’s done through a list of daily and weekly quests.

Once players have gathered 100 of these tokens, they’ll be able to get more tokens from specific activities for their warband, while buying a full transmog set will lower the cost of subsequent set purchases.

In addition to the transmog sets, there will be a new Coldflame Tempest mount to get for completing a meta-achievement along with plenty of NPCs selling consumable goodies. All of the granular details, including what vendors have what goods, are outlined on the website.
