The next three months in the action MMO Vindictus have been officially mapped out by Nexon. Well, at least two of the three months. Specifically, November and January, which are when some major updates are scheduled to land.

The announcement opens with a sizable list of changes to character progression due November 14th that look to significantly streamline the process of leveling up: Players will be able to choose an option to automatically skip most dialogue and cutscenes, the tutorial will be removed from the main story and can be skipped wholesale, boss battles can be started immediately after the story, and rewards for completing missions will shift from gold to more growth materials.

Later in November, players can expect the new space-time distortion (aka raid) to open up in the form of The Watcher’s Temple, which will pit players against Jordra and Jörmungandr and provide new rewards in the form of new artifacts and unique enchantments. Testing of this fight will begin on November 6th, followed by a release to the game on November 21st.

Finally, the MMO’s 26th hero is scheduled to arrive sometime in January instead of in December as originally planned. The announcement explains that this will better line up with Vindictus’ 15th anniversary as well as the Lunar New Year and asks for players’ patience while the studio puts this latest character together.
