Good news, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen gamers! This week is bringing a content patch! What’s in it? We don’t know yet! But at least there’s something coming and that’s pretty good news all around, right?

The Discord announcement is genuinely thin on details, saying simply that the game’s servers will be brought down tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. EST for “a content update and some backend work.” The length of the maintenance is also not specified but it could take several hours.

Visionary Realms also notes that this next patch will “[lay] the foundation for some changes, one being a move toward a static patch day,” with Wednesdays anticipated to be weekly patch day. The studio further points out that not every weekly patch will bring new content; the intention is to make “smaller, more frequent changes and updates to keep development moving at a steady pace” for testers to gnaw on.

Speaking of those testers, Pantheon has gotten a tiny little rise in Steam concurrency with an all-new peak of just over 6,500 players this past Sunday. So those few thousands can look forward to some content of some sort soon.
