It’s been a long time coming, but today has seen fans of Conan Exiles get its December patch, which applies updates to sorcery and some quality-of-life goodies.

Among the top facets of this update are several enhancements to the game’s sorcery system, which include faster arcane staff casting, the end of reagent needs for early spells, and smoother progression for the Tome of Kurak. There’s also more efficiency bonuses earned from sorcery thralls at the sacrificial stone and new rituals that let players summon new entities.

The vast majority of the patch is otherwise all about that QoL: Construction has also been eased in the patch now that followers can provide building materials while players use the construction hammer, crafting stations can pull needed materials from inventory, players can now trade thralls among themselves, spawning logic for the purge has been improved, and stability improvements have arrived. Overall life in the harsh lands of the survivalbox should now be harsh for the right reasons.
