Would you like some anime from an anime gacha RPG? Then you’ll be happy to know that Wuthering Waves will indeed be getting the anime treatment thanks to an upcoming animated series. Which is, unfortunately, all we know at this time.
OK, that’s not all we know: The series is being created by Kuro Onroad, “an animation brand under Kuro Games.” We also know that the series is titled Wuthering Waves: Elysium. And, of course, there’s a teaser trailer that at least grants a brief peek at what the series will look like, if nothing else.
Unfortunately, that really is all that fans are getting for right now. Press details don’t really give much information about the series’ story, its characters, it’s arrival date, or whether it’s doing something outside of or in lock step with the current narrative, though since it does call itself “based on the world” of the game, there’s room for guesswork. Kuro Onroad promises more details soon, but that teaser awaits below if you’re curious.
