Star Trek magazine provides support for a Star Trek Online crossover with the reboot universe

Remember this dude from Star Trek Online? You know, the guy that got a whole write-up just for the fun of it about how he might indicate a crossover between two universes of Star Trek? It turns out that might not have just been idle speculation after all, as the most recent issue of Star Trek Magazine sheds a spotlight on actors reprising their roles in STO, including Joseph Gatt as 0781.

There’s always the possibility that something was misunderstood or misinterpreted, but it’s not too much of a stretch to say that the character will be showing up when he’s been sneaking about in NPC form. We’ll just have to wait and see, but odds seem high that a crossover will indeed be happening, to the delight of some and the chagrin of others. Which is admittedly what could be said about any event in any game ever, really.
