Age of Wulin is getting its fourth expansion on April 28th, according to a new Webzen press release. If you’re scratching your head in confusion, recall that Webzen publishes the free-to-play martial arts MMO in Europe under the Age of Wulin moniker while Snail Games publishes the same title in the Americas but calls it Age of Wushu.
At any rate, Chapter 5: Heaven’s Ascent is coming to Europe at the end of this month. Chapter 5 includes the Ladder to Heavens Arena tournament and new class-06 equipment, Webzen says.
The arena is a daily PvP competition that rewards winners with skill books, materials, and ancient manuals. The new gear requires players to complete a new stage of the Age of Wulin Record called “Before the Final Battle,” after which they’ll be able to craft equipment upgrades.
