The good news is that Camelot Unchained will indeed be hitting the shores of the land of betas. The bad news? It’s not going to be until next year, presumably before the end of the winter. Hopefully you weren’t planning to do that, like, this weekend.
Other beta news that arrived at our doorstep coated in slime and precious stones:
- Aima Online has had its grand opening into launch. Korean players can be happy about this. Or not, depending on taste.
- ELOA is entering its own localized beta test on October 13th. In the grim future of the year right now, all MMO titles are always in caps, all the time.
- Novus Inceptio has started off its alpha testing. The team is working to address issues with playability.
- Armored Warfare is in open beta, so you can blow up other armored vehicles in a new game if that’s your thing.
- Last but not least, the technical alpha for the long-delayed localized version of Blade & Soul has kicked off.

As always, we consider an MMO to be in open testing if it features free, public signups and will server wipe prior to launch. An MMO is marked in closed testing if it’s running a private test phase that cannot freely be accessed by the general public; it’s usually under NDA as well. Early access and crowdfunded MMOs whose tests we deem legitimate will be included. So-called “open beta” soft-launch MMOs with cash shops, no sign of launch in the west, or limited interest for our readers will not be listed; we also do not list expansions.
