While today’s Marvel Heroes patch doesn’t have yet another hero for you to play with, it is changing one of its existing roster to feel all-new (and all-different). Ms. Marvel has been promoted to Captain Marvel and given a new default outfit to match her appearance in the current comic run. Players who already had Carol can enter the code “DANVERS” on their account page to pick up the new costume for free.
Team-ups are another looming feature with Patch 1.74. Spider-Gwen, the alternate reality version of Spider-Man, is now available to join players on their adventures. If you wanted to play her, you’re in luck: Her enhanced costume (which replaces Spider-Man’s) can be purchased. There’s also a new S.H.I.E.L.D. agent team-up that can be collected by visiting Nick Fury in chapter 3.
Other changes include X-23’s Wolverine costume, the new female Thor costume, the return of the Operation Omega event, and improvements to several of Gambit’s skills.
