MapleStory preps character server transfer event

Yeah, we're boned.

So you’ve been playing MapleStory for a while, but when you convinced your friends to start playing, they all wound up playing on a different world than you play on. Now you’re too high-level to start over, but they’re all on the Awesome World while you’re stuck on Loser World where your only traveling companions are bots and Cletus the Rat Farmer. Good news, though; the World Leap event is arriving on November 12th, giving players a chance to transfer from one world to another.

Transferring worlds requires your character to start out at level 33 or higher before November 12th. The transfers are expected to be quick and only require a logout to be finished; said transfers cannot be cancelled once started. Most character information is copied in the move, although link skills, Dalair’s medals, account-shared quests, guilds, and a few other details will not be transferred between worlds. You also cannot move worlds if your character is married. Otherwise, you can feel free to hop to a new world and see if it’s any better where your friends are.

And maybe you can ask Cletus to move, too. You actually would miss his rat farm discussions.
