Ever, Jane is anticipating being a gateway for people who have never played video games or MMOs before, which is why the team has created a new beginner experience for its second closed beta patch.
By indicating that one is a complete newbie upon character creation, the player will be taken to a “special room” and then flogged. Wait, no. The player will actually be shown the ropes of how online games work.
The new patch also includes a remodel of Mrs. Hatch’s cottage and improvements to the story system (i.e., now you can actually finish previously bugged quests). The team is also working to restore sections of the forum and is preparing in-game events for the future.
