Firefall vows to tackle more Razor’s Edge bugs

Firefall’s had a rough couple of months, first with Christmastime budget and reorganization problems and then with the rocky launch of its Razor’s Edge patch. This week, Red 5 Studios says its “priority right now is Update 1.6 bugs,” and it vows “more patches as needed” to address item migration issues:

We are still working at getting the missing modules and other items addressed so they can be seen and salvaged. We performed some work yesterday that should have fixed the problem where Pilot’s XP Packs (converted from Pilot Tokens) should now be appearing in player inventories. Interestingly enough, when we kicked that tire, we also received some reports from players that some missing weapons/abilities appeared. We’re still looking into this to ensure that people have the items they had previously. Note: The XP Packs still cannot be used at maximum level, which is a bug and will be fixed in today’s patch. We’ll cover that a little more later on in this post.

The missing modules appear to be the ones that we had unslotted from your equipment. We’re looking into what kind of state that may have put them in. We can see that you actually have the modules from that process, it’s just a matter of figuring out what’s causing them to not be recognized as the appropriate item type so that they can be displayed in inventory. Missing items is the top priority for our WebDev team right now.

There’s a lengthy list of bug fixes in 1.6.1934; check ’em out on the official site.
