Do you have nostalgia pangs for Titan Quest or simply crave a good action-RPG on your iPhone or iPad? Then today is going to be spectacular for you, since this mythology-themed ARPG has been released on iOS.

Titan Quest originally came out in 2006 and reached cult status since then. The mobile version includes the full game with an open world, over 1,200 item, 80 types of foes, 30 classes, and scalable difficulty modes. New features have been added such as the touch interface and cloud saving.

You can pick up Titan Quest for $7. If you’re an Android player, then don’t fret: That version is coming along “soon.” So how does this port look? Check out its trailer after the break.

Detton It is coming “soon”. DotEmu titles are generally released on every platform they can manage.

Virtual thumbsticks and like 8 small touch buttons to press during combat looks like a nightmare to actually play unless easy mode is super forgiving.

Anyone know if you need the internet to play this? Thinking of buying it, but want to play it on the road where I’ll have no connectivity.

ApathyCurve You should check out Grim Dawn — I suspect it will go on drastic sale during Steam’s summer sale, and it is cut from the same cloth as Titan Quest, but without the decade-old UI/graphics/etc.

Same 2-class + mastery point skill system, with a new added specialization system called Devotion that is really cool, as well. Good times!

So just plain vanilla TQ, no Immortal Throne expansion ? also no TQ vault either which is to be expected as its a mod but still. Hmmm, cool its getting a new lease of life but I  will stick with my computer version :-)

I love Titan Quest.  It has claimed a permanent chunk of my hard drive for many years.  But I can’t imagine trying to play it on a little bitty touchscreen.  Too old, I guess.  (Me, not the game).

oh shit that was actually one of my most favourite ARPG during my high school years! I might pick it up…now if only someone could port Sacred too.

Make sure to support the games original creators and buy a copy of Grim Dawn, the games spiritual successor. One of the best examples of what a kickstarter game should be (now fully released)
