Looking for a cute companion to help boost your RuneScape skills? You can start collecting some starting next week when the new skilling pets hop, bound, fly and run into the game — and players’ hearts. There are 19 different pets representing 19 skills, from cooking to construction to agility to fishing to farming. There’s even a raccoon who seems bent on pickpocketing.
Unfortunately, getting a hold of the pet isn’t as easy as just heading down to the skilling pet shelter and adopting one. Players will have the chance to unlock the pet in the course of performing the particular skill associated with the pet. There are also two new titles to acquire related to skill pet collecting.
