Ever fancy yourself the wanderer type, fated to roam the lands while righting wrongs and becoming a legend in your own right? A new multiplayer fighter, Absolver, purports to offer the opportunity to play out this fantasy.
Absolver puts players in the role of Prospects, masked fighters who learn how to become better fighters as they journey across the land. There’s both PvE and PvP encounters to be had that attempt to create spontaneous narratives. Interested parties are invited to sign up for the upcoming open beta test.
The game sounds like it puts great emphasis on an involved combat system: “Battles between warriors are an intense real-time flow of attacks, dodges, feints, and counters, with all aspects of gameplay customizable, including combat styles, weapons, and even individual attack sequences in the player’s combat deck.”
