Add this to the list of cool stuff for console that PC players are unlikely to see: Marvel Heroes Omega is getting a local co-op mode. Gazillion Gameplay Engineer Andrew Hair dropped the news on Twitter this morning.

The studio announced Marvel Heroes Omega earlier this month. A console port had long been expected, but players weren’t really anticipating that it would be so trimmed down (launching initially on PS4 with only 38 of the game’s 60 playable characters) and separate.
Beta begins on Friday, as do PS4 founder pack sales.
