Prosperous Universe expands its team to three, starts to map out the future

It’s been a couple of months since we last checked in with Prosperous Universe, the indie economic sandbox set in space. So what has this small dev team been doing?

A new payment system went live at the end of last year, and very limited — but productive — tests continue with a couple of dozen players. Faster-than-light travel received some attention last month as the developers adjusted flight times, fuel consumption, and the distance that a ship must have between itself and a planet before a jump.

The two-person team expanded to three in February with the addition of a community manager. This new CM reported that the team is formulating its plans for the future, including the next alpha build, encouraging player interaction, and the studio’s launch strategy.

Since it might have been a while since you even thought of this title, we’re going to repost the introduction video to bring you up to speed on this interesting game.
