Yes, like an island.

As 2018 draws to a close, En Masse Entertainment is looking forward to the future in its recently published roadmap for what awaits TERA in the first quarter of 2019. January will see the release of update V79 — official title to be determined, obviously — “which will include class and skill balancing and a wealth of PvP changes — from Battleground updates to skill and PvP equipment updates.”

February will be a relatively light month, with in-game events to celebrate the Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day, but that will be more than made up for by the massive update coming in March. Dubbed V80 — again, official title to be determined — this update will increase the level cap to level 70 and introduce new quests as well as “a new open-world boss system.”

We don’t have any more details beyond that just yet, but the post promises to reveal more information as the updates get closer to release. It looks like TERA is going to be coming out strong in the beginning of 2019, and the devs assure us that “there are no plans to slow down after that.” As for what else awaits the game in the new year, we’ll just have to wait and find out.
