World of Warcraft recaps the process of hunting down the Hivemind mount

No galaxy brain here.

If your enjoyment of World of Warcraft partly relies upon hunting down the puzzles full of obscure notes for individual mounts, you would probably do pretty well as Batman against the Riddler. You also were probably one of the people eager to figure out the secrets of the Hivemind, but now that the puzzles have been solved, the developers have outlined the path taken to hide the Hivemind behind a series of ornate puzzles and challenges. It also serves as a walkthrough for those who haven’t solved it yet, so don’t read it if you want to figure things out on your own.

The full post-mortem draws upon all of the tenuous connections and vague allusions necessary to make the puzzle work, both the leaps of logic necessary and the pieces of the puzzle that were outlined ahead of time. It’s a lengthy set of puzzles involving grifting trolls, magical cats, and of course, floating brains. If you don’t mind being spoiled on all of that? Look through the full sequence.

They need to shut this game down, it’s disgraceful at this point.

If you don’t like it, that’s fine. Don’t pay attention, don’t post. Don’t presume to talk for anyone else (like the small city worth of people watching Method this morning!)

Gotta love this skewed world views where you’re only allowed to have an opinion when it’s a positive one, when it’s a negative one, you’re immediately the bad guy for having a different thinking process than the majority…

You’re like the epitome of what dictatorship looks like under the “democracy”.

You sound like someone who likes to be a dick then cries when called out.

The hell is that supposed to mean.

You sound like someone who feels very self-righteous and a know-it-all.

As for what that means, well, if you’ve attended school, learned history and stuff, you should be able to answer that yourself. You consider yourself to be smart, come on, put that atrophied brain to work.

But to be kind and explain to you – it means:

Since we live in a democratic society and everyone should have a freedom of speech, this guy (and you too) act like dictators by going around deciding who has the right to speak and who doesn’t based on whether you agree with their opinions or not. And a dictatorship is exactly that – deciding who gets to speak based on what they plan to say – if it’s good, it’s a go, if it’s bad – not allowed.

If you don’t care about my opinion, ignore it and move on, apparently you were so triggered by it that you felt the need to respond.

If you’re so quick to make conclusions about other people, then… well I don’t want to be like you so I won’t make conclusions based on nothing. Have a good day.

You having an opinion does not mean you can’t be wrong, snowflake. Also, if you VOICE it, you’re presenting it to criticism. It’s extremely simple.

Freedom of speech doesn’t work for you handing out bullshit and people shutting up about it. You have the right to be wrong, and we have the right to voice our opinions about you being full of.

Again:

Grow up. No one is coming to take your rights. We’re not dictators or moderators. You’re the kind of person who likes to toss anti-pc speech around but you can’t take it when criticism is directed to you. We’re just voicing criticism to an wrong opinion you had, and here you are, comparing us to mass murderers.

Run to your safespaces, or cry about it. My pity, you won’t have. But we won’t shut up about your bs, just because you think we should, jackass.

There’s a limit to how one person can be so distopic as to think their opinion affects the way the world turns.

You crossed that.

Can’t wait for the consequences. Guess it’s part of the life of a rebel. xD xD xD

The consequences are that people in this forum already realizes you’re a crybaby who thinks his opinions are worth anything more than others.

They aren’t, you’re just a crying children. Grow up. Boohoo, the world has to be positive, boohoo, i can’t be mean because it’s a PC world, boohoo.

Christ, dude. Go see a psychologist or something.

Oh no! Anything but that. I’m ruined…. xD

This is one of the few cool things that the current WoW team has been doing imo. Legion had a handful of similar hidden mounts/etc. and it’s cool that they made such a deep series of hidden things to do that probably 99% of the playerbase wouldn’t ever think to look for.

Blizzard’s W/T is OK, but Wowhead’s (and the ‘secret solving’ Discord) is much better (at least I found). Cool mount though, the group mechanics aside!
