How big is Dual Universe? Big enough to need a second studio! While continuing to grow in Paris, Novaquark just announced that it is expanding across the pond by opening another studio in Montreal. Plans are to hire a team of up to 50 people to ramp up development of its upcoming single-shard space sandbox MMORPG, Dual Universe. (To apply, check out the company’s job listings.) Heading up the Canadian team will be Stéphane D’Astous, who has been brought onboard as General Manager. D’Astous’ resume includes leading Eidos-Montreal and Square Enix-Montreal studios as well as Director of Operation at Ubisoft-Montreal.

If you happen to be in the Montreal area on March 5th, 2019, you can be the first to see the new studio and attend a live demo of Dual Universe. You can also talk shop with Founder and Creative Director of Novaquark Jean-Christophe Baillie. If you have interest in joining the team, there will also be a discussion on recruiting.
