Remember Blizzard’s last post warning WoW Classic players to stop trying to pile onto the poor Herod PvP server, to plan to play elsewhere lest they face 10,000-player queues? And remember how Blizzard said it wasn’t gonna just raise realm caps to let everyone play on Herod?
Blizzard blinked first. Or maybe there’s just too damn many people trying to register names for this thing.
“The existing PvP realms all now have either a Full or High population tag,” Blizzard wrote this afternoon. “With the potential for extended queues on the Full realms, and 10,000+ queues on Herod, we are opening [three] new PvP realms on Monday, August 19 at 6:00 p.m. PDT [9 p..m. EDT].” It works out to two for North America and one for Europe:
Blaumeux – PvP – Pacific Time Zone (NA)
Skeram – PvP – Eastern Time Zone NA)
Firemaw – PvP – English (EU)
That’s in addition to the Stalagg server added last week (at which point Blizzard had already identified Herod as a problem server). That’s what, 29 servers now? How many more will we see?
