Eighteen years is a long and impressive span for any MMORPG to be kicking around, so naturally an in-game celebration is due for Dark Age of Camelot, which will be marking the milestone with players by dishing out bonuses and a gift box for everyone.
The Ywain and Gagheris servers will each be seeing their own unique buffs to XP and RP gain, while both servers will see a 40% bonus to crafting speed and 20% bonus to crafting skill gain in all capital cities, and a 20% crafting speed and 10% bonus to crafting skill gain in all housing zones. These buffs will last until Thursday, November 7th.
In addition, players on non-trial accounts who have a character that is level 35 and over can head to a Royal Accountant NPC to get themselves a gift box full of goodies like a Scroll that hands players 15,000 Bounty Points, blank equipment patterns, and some unique consumable items. Players can snap up this freebie until November 7th.
Unpossible! I have so many wonderful memories of Beta 1 DAoC when we only had a few Albion zones, constant wipes, and nearly all the mobs had placeholder models. Man, I really miss the old days when Beta meant Beta. I was so fortunate to be a part of those early DAoC days.
Great. Now I feel old… well older than usual lol
When UO turned 20 if felt a lot worse..lol
Still the best group PvP experience I’ve ever had (in 2001/2002). Thanks, Mark Jacobs!
