Star Wars Galaxies Legends’ Halloween events add fresh content to the rogue server

Plus the most important backpack loot in SWG history

Even the rogue servers of the MMO world celebrate Halloween. Case in point: Star Wars Galaxies Legends, one of the SWG community’s larger emus, dropped the Galactic Moon Festival this week. It’s pretty similar to the original event from the SOE days, but the devs have tacked on more, including new emotes, riddles, and dungeon content. There are new rewards and badges too.

“In an effort to gain more support from the planets Naboo, Kashyyyk, and Tatooine, Jabba the Hutt has decided to throw the annual Galactic Moon Festival once more so everyone can celebrate the horrifyingly awesome haunts of the season. Jabba has grown tired of all the love festivals, celebrations of life, and other saccharine events. Thus, he has taken it upon himself to throw the scariest festival of the year!”

I poked around the event last year, trick-or-treating for the best loot in the game: the Dirge song scroll for my entertainer and the Stinky the Hutt backpack for my Smuggler.
