I have a few MMOs that I go to when I want traditional questing or dungeon hopping, but when I’m in the mood for the simplicity of pure grinding — or mob farming, if you will — I boot up WoW Classic and go to town.
I know it sounds so basic and even dull, but there’s something really calming and appealing about grinding out mobs for experience, gold, and loot. I like challenging myself to see how many mobs I can pull or how much money I can make in a night. Since WoW Classic’s quests really aren’t that great, I don’t feel like I’m missing that much by eschewing them and staking out a farming spot for the evening.
