The Daily Grind: How much time do you get to play MMOs every day?

It occurred to me the other day that I honestly have no idea how much time the average MMO player gets to indulge in his or her hobby. Perhaps there is no “average,” what with different life situations and available free time. But I’ve always assumed that most people have more time than I do.

Maybe that’s not the case. On a regular day, I’ll get about two hours to play at the end of the evening after the family’s in bed and I’ve finished my task checklist. It’s not always a super-productive two hours — after all, it’s coming as my mind and body are starting to crash. But that’s still enough for me to make progress in one or two titles at a time.

What about you? How much time do you get to play MMOs on an average day? Do you binge more on the weekends? Do you even sneak in a little play sessions during lunch or other breaks?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
