Well, would you look at this little charmer. Say hello to Fioresia Online, an in-development open world MMORPG that promises a variety of things for players to do like housing, farming, questing, battling monsters, and conquering castles to grow influence and wealth, all played in a 2.5-D art style that can best be described as South Park characters in LARP armor.
Questing in the game consists of the usual MMO style adventures, whether it’s defending cities from monsters, providing materials to outposts, or helping NPCs, though the game promises that player actions will have dynamic changes to the world. A few ways the world of Fioresia Online can be changed is through a castle management and node system (which means that castles can be sieged) and a caravan system that lets players either haul goods from town to town or become thieves to sack said caravans.
According to Fioresia’s Steam page, the game is set to release sometime in 2021. A further update post from developer Codevision states that the studio has earned the funding it needs to hire a full team that is already working on writing the game’s overall story and creating new graphics and animations for player characters. Both of these endeavors are expected to be wrapped up by January and February respectively.
