I have made no secret of the fact that while I watch a lot of YouTube, I seldom enjoy video game videos or streams; most of the time, I just get impatient about them, and my internal monologue is just pure get on with it! I am definitely “prefers to read content quickly” rather than “watch a streamer drag it out” kind of person (all due respect to our streamers!). And most of the time, I’d rather just log in and try it out myself anyway than watch someone else play.
I know there are some games that are just as agonizing to play as watch (I’m remembering how MJ and Chris roasted my footage of decorating houses in SWG Legends, which takes forever and is excruciating to witness). But what about the opposite – which MMOs are actually more fun to watch than play?
