Eternal Tombs showcases game footage from a recent public raid test

If you’re a part of the Eternal Tombs Discord, you probably saw a call for a brief public test come across your app as developer Triune Studios looked to test “a small raid prototype” with around 20 players. While that window was very small and closed in rather short order, everyone else is getting a look from the outside in thanks to a gameplay video.

The raid in question saw the group of testers enter an extremely dark cavern in order to face off against a dragon. Everything appears pretty rudimentary at this stage, with the dragon not doing much more than pawing at player characters and summoning additional smaller dragons into the arena, but by Triune’s assessment, the test was a “huge success,” with many players reporting no framerate drops or lag spikes. In addition, the footage shared in the video was recorded on intentionally outdated hardware and low network bandwidth.

Triune promises that more tests are on the way, though specifics about when those will be held aren’t shared. Until then, you can look at how this one is progressing in the footage below.
