If you’ve fallen in love with the unique cadence of Tarisland’s not-quite-correct English translations from its various video narrations, you will probably enjoy the character story about Aslow the Shadow Witch. It will also be edifying to those who have a deep-seated need to learn about the lore of the game. If you just want to blow up the boss and that’s all you need to know about Aslow, well, you will not gain additional insight here. You will, however, learn that she is not the manifestation of evil from the very beginning (which means “she wasn’t born evil,” basically).
Those who read the whole story will thrill to events like Aslow murdering a whole bunch of people who murdered her best friend, specifically a willow tree she was talking to, and then later murdering an elder who was trying to suppress her various shadow-based powers.
