Blizzard is once again sounding the promotional horn for DIablo IV, only this time it doesn’t involve chicken, laundry, or Sarah Michelle Gellar; it’s just your bog standard free demo promotion that lets Steam players enjoy up to 20 levels of the OARPG.
Steam users can pop into the game for free between now and November 28th, with no restrictions on content between levels 1 and 20, and they can also take advantage of a 40% discount on the platform if they so choose. It’s kind of similar to demos offered on other platforms before, only this one is dressed in Steam blue!
This new promotion coincides with a returning Mother’s Blessing event that runs from now until November 27th, which brings a multiplicative 35% increase to gold and XP earnings whether players are on seasonal servers, eternal servers, or any of the world tiers. This boon also stacks with other buffing items like elixirs and urns of experience, so those who are already in-game can reap some rewards for a few days.
