What do the Christmas season and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star Vinnie Jones have in common? They’re coming together in War Thunder to herald the start of Holiday Ops events on December 1st. It’s a natural fit in someone’s mind, we suppose.
The holiday festivities will arrive all across WoT, WoT Blitz, and WoT Modern Armor, bringing the promise of “an abundance of surprises, gifts and festive adventure, all brought to you by the magic of Holiday Ops.” There’s also a trailer starring Jones as Santa’s naughty list enforcer. He runs over a classic BMW with a tank. It’s a whole thing.
Meanwhile, WoT has released its 1.23 update, which is highlighted by the addition of a random events feature that lets players experience four different modifier scenarios on four different battle maps. The patch otherwise makes a variety of fixes and adds a host of new vehicles for Supertest players to try out.
