ArcheAge’s 2024 roadmap includes new systems and the Fairy race

ArcheAge is cursed to live in interesting times, it seems. With game version merges in its recent past, the 11th anniversary in its present, and a brewing sequel in its future, it’s going to be interesting to see what this fantasy sandbox can do to forge a brighter future in 2024. To address this, Producer Hae-nyung Lee posted the MMO’s roadmap for the coming year as the team strives to “value player freedom while focusing on a single competitive experience.”

Four major updates (or “phases”) are laid out in this roadmap, starting with the Akasch Queen’s Rage patch that will revamp the Akasch Invasion field raid, remove faction points, and add an exile system. Phase two promises to add capturable guild bases and a Golden Plains Battle experience, followed by phase three’s Zodiac Constellations growth system.

Finally, the last big patch of the year will add the Fairy race along with an equipment transcend system. ArcheAge also is giving everyone a free unspecified anniversary gift in the marketplace starting January 4th.
