The other day I was watching MMO players have a good-natured discussion about transmog systems among various titles. A few FFXIV players lamented how they dearly wished that their game’s glamour system was as intuitive and user-friendly as cosmetic systems in other MMOs.
But that’s how it is with MMORPGs. Any given game has at least one or two completely kludgy systems that are more obtuse, complicated, and frustrating than they really should be. So today let’s call out those kludgy features and share a united hope that one day they’ll be revamped and improved! What are some of the worst-designed gameplay systems you’ve encountered in MMOs?
