Oh man, Age of Empires II was my jam back in the early 2000s. Along with many of you, surely, I sunk in so much time playing Microsoft’s hit RTS civ game. But the question is, will the Age of Empires format translate well into a mobile experience?
Let’s hope so, as Xbox Games subsidiary TiMi Studio Group is bringing Age of Empires Mobie to fans later in 2024. The newly announced game promises the same base building, army battling format along with multiplayer sieges and struggles.
“Age of Empires Mobile is a new chapter for the illustrious franchise, customized for mobile play with a broad array of exciting elements from the existing series, as well as new features to assure strategic, simulated battles across a variety of modes,” the studio said in a press release.
This mobile version is slated to head into testing soon and is taking pre-registrations on the official website.
