BitCraft adds $20 supporter pack guaranteeing access to all future playtesting

We’re just a week away from BitCraft’s second alpha, and developer Clockwork Labs has updated the account hub in preparation for the event. Specifically, the devs have added what is effectively a pay-to-play option for would-be supporters.

“Many of you reached out to us for a way to support the game,” Clockwork says. “Although BitCraft is still early in development, we wanted to create a way for dedicated fans to show their support and aid development by testing the game, so we’ve created the BitCraft Supporter Badge. The Supporter Badge is a fun shiny card that will be added to your Account Hub to showcase your support for BitCraft.”

The supporter pack and badge is $20 and includes a founder title, 25,000 hexite shards “to help create, defend, and siege empires in each test” (so not pay-to-win currency on live), and access to all playtests from here on out up to launch.

Alpha 2 begins on July 8th, so if you’re not lucky enough to get in from signing up, this looks like another avenue – just note that sales don’t officially begin until 11 a.m. EDT today.
