While Temtem will not be receiving any more new content after its 1.7 update, that still doesn’t mean that the game isn’t being patched after the fact, which is demonstrated with the release of the 1.7.1 patch. This is what maintenance mode does, for the most part: It maintains things.
The patch in question does offer up a pretty sizeable list of fixes for various bugs and issues in the game. Some of these fixes address things like console players being unable to buy cosmetics with Feathers, battles being frozen if a Tem with the Kaleidoscope trait received buffs, a specific soft lock, and animation matters, among several others. There are also a couple of balance tweaks to some abilities and the Amphatyr critter.
Beyond that, the only other thing of note is a set of five new codes that can be redeemed for Pride-themed cosmetic banners, as developer Crema Games heralds the celebration of “Pride Year.” These are in addition to 10 other codes that were handed out in the middle of June to mark Pride Month.
Pride month who????? We only know PRIDE YEAR.
