It’s an Olympic year in meatspace, which is apparently reason enough for the stylish and friendly MMO Sky: Children of the Light to hold its own competition among its playerbase in the form of the Tournament of Triumph, which runs from today, July 29th, through August 18th.

“‘Tournament of Triumph’ is the latest event encouraging positivity and teamwork in Sky: Children of the Light. In Sky, players worldwide embark on playful quests and meet many unique Spirits around Sky’s breathtaking world above the clouds. […] Sky’s very own games offer an exhilarating lineup of running, leaping, soaring and scampering taking place all around the whimsical adventure game’s beautiful world.”

Players can look forward to two different games to compete in every day of the event, which starts by being assigned to a team by the Crab of Triumph at Aviary Village, all the while collecting event currency that can be spent on thematic cosmetics. The whole event will wrap up with the promise of a day-long closing ceremony on August 18th that celebrates the winning team. So if you’re up for a little friendly competition, it’s time to get on the starting blocks.
